My good friend Stuart McKee posted about an incredible victory for citizens over at The Bright Side and I couldn’t concur more with his conclusions.
I am proud that Microsoft and our partner ISC were instrumental in helping bring this open government effort into being. And the deep connection to the cloud is a great proof point in my thesis that all governments have the ability and the calling to outperform the private sector. What they need is the permission from political leaders, help from the private sector partners they develop and a great citizen base.
